Whilst at Durham's octopush session yesterday, Jamie Parsons mentioned that trials are being held on Saturday 3 November at Jesmond for the ONE team. I''m not 100% sure what this is about, but I think the plan is to pull together a team from all the clubs in the North East to send down to the nationals this season. Jamie's since posted this on York Uni's Facebook group:
Hi guys we're going to have the try outs for the ONE team on Saturday the 3rd of November. 12.30-3.30pm at Jesmond pool, Newcastle. Sorry for the late notice. If your going to come along please let me know. If you can't make it but are interested in playing for the team let [Jamie from Durham] know that as well.
All being well, I should be there. Afterall, York's pool is still planned to be closed next week, and I'll need an octopush fix.
